From starting over to building a career I truly love.

I'm the founder and artist behind Simply BeYOUtiful, and my journey into the beauty industry began with a leap of faith.

I moved to Canada from Brazil in 2011 without speaking a word of English. Learning a new language, building a life in a new country, and finding my place was challenging — but it taught me the value of patience, determination, and never being afraid to begin again.

In 2015, I decided to follow my passion for beauty and invest in my education. I started with lashes, and in 2016 I became a Permanent Makeup Artist and founded Simply BeYOUtiful.

Since then, I've never stopped learning.

Over the years, I've completed more than 20 certifications and continued to refine my skills through advanced education, hands-on practice, competitions, and ongoing study. My work has been recognized internationally, including 1st place for Best Eyeliner in a Brazilian competition in 2018, followed by 2nd place in Powder/Ombré Brows and 2nd place in Permanent Eyeliner in 2020.

One of the most important steps in my professional journey was completing an Advanced Medical Esthetics course while living in Calgary. It expanded the way I see beauty.

I learned to look beyond the treatment itself and understand the skin — how it heals, how it responds, and how internal and external factors can affect the results.

That education reinforced something I strongly believe today:

Beautiful results begin with healthy, well-cared-for skin.

My approach is rooted in education, precision, continuous learning, and respect for each client's individual skin and features. I don't believe beauty should be about changing who you are. I believe it should enhance what is already yours and help you feel confident in your own skin.

I'm a wife, a mother to a daughter and a son, and a woman who is deeply passionate about what she does. I continue to read, study, practise, and learn because I believe that being an expert means never thinking you know everything.

And after all these years, the part of my work that means the most to me is still the same:

Seeing a client look in the mirror, smile, and feel good about herself.

That's what keeps me learning.
